Thanks for your reply this just appeared 2 days ago and that you have mentioned yes it extends behind my ear... I also haven’t tried any Medication as of yet as I was wanting advice of what type of medication to apply

Forgot to add it’s not itchy

One last comment is that the part on the photo I sent is not itchy Butt the back of my scalp is itchy quite a lot

The rash and areas involved are suggestive of seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is usually itchy.
I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid cream e.g either triamcinolone acetonide or mometasone furoate 0.1 % cream twice daily for a few days. These are prescription medications. In addition you may use a ketoconazole based shampoo every alternate day for scalp.
