Question: I have recently got my health check up. All report looks fine except the LFT report. Could you please help? GGT - 89, Indirect bilirubin - 1.20, Direct Bilurubin - 0.10, Triglycerides - 231, ALT/SGPT - 79, A/G ratio - 1.42.

I am overweight. 78kgs with height 5'4. I am not diabetic. I rarely consume alchohol - once in a year if at all. But a week back I have consumed alchohol.

Ultrasound not done. Should I go ahead and do one?

Your SGPT/ALT is not significantly raised. The most likely cause is fatty liver disease.
It can be confirmed with an ultrasound scan. Kindly get it done.

The triglyceride level is increased.

The risk factors for your probable fatty liver are obesity and raised triglycerides.
You need to reduce weight and also treat the raised triglycerides. Consult you doctor for prescription.
