However, as per your description, they seemed to be recurring. So a thorough set of investigations are recommended in order to establish the diagnosis as well as for further management.

At this outset, I'd suggest getting Complete hemogram, Reticulocyte count, ESR, Peripheral blood smear, Liver and Kidney function tests, Coagulation profile along with Fibrinogen level for further assessment.
