I Have Red Spots All Over My Body Developed After Lot Of Itching
Question: I have red spots all over my body developed after lot of itching in that area after oozing out blood on account of scratching. This is for a couple of years. This keeps on shifting. A recent experience shows that these were on my back and now on my thighs.
I have taken treatment from few dermatologists and tried various ointments and antiallergic tablets but no respite. Now finally I am coming to Ask a doctor app

I want to stop itching, then other things will stop. I hv started homeopathy 10 days back as I hv many problems. If you see, I hv many small red moles on my stomach area. If HCM stops our dialogue, how to continue consultation?

Brief Answer:
Prurigo simplex
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
It's prurigo simplex, a type of allergic reaction usually associated with Diabetes.
As this skin problem is associated with systemic disease, it can only be controlled.
Take tablet fexofenadine 180 mg in morning, tablet Montar LC in night.
Apply Halobetasol 0.05 % lotion in night and Ritch cream in morning.
After Bath apply Physiogel or Dermoys moisturizer.
Do this for 15 days.
You might require short course of oral steroid, but that can be considered at a later stage.
First start with the above medication.
You can ask direct question to me on HCM whenever you like to do so.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
