I Have Scheduled A Second Appointment For Fat Injections In

Question: I have scheduled a second appointment for fat injections in my face mostly to correct acne scars. It has been 6 and a half months since the first one. I see minimal results as the dr. was quite conservative. Also is it true that since there is now a foundation, can I assume that more of the fat will remain the second time? My face is thin to begin with, as I never had a full face. Should I have any concerns that I may not be aware of? Also he is filling in my lips, which are also thin by nature.

Brief Answer:
No major complications at all.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

The autologous fat injection is one of the safest filling methods. There are no major complications at all at fat transferring. Some ecimoses may happen and they can go by itself in 6 to 10 days.
I believe it will remain in in face for longer up to 12 years.
This time you will see much improvement and better results.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
