Question: I have seen youtube videos saying virtago is a sign of hiv. I asked a doctor on here saying it is not. Is it a sign or is it not?

Vertigo can occur in HIV infection as a very late manifestation in advanced disease. Not as an early manifestation.
Vertigo is one of the commonest problem and it can occur with so many conditions. It is not at all an unique symptom of HIV infection.
AIDS is known to human kind for the past 37 years only. But vertigo was present for thousands of years.

Vertigo, as an isolated symptom in early HIV infection,is quite unlikely.
