I Have Some Questions About The Health Of Myself And
Question: I have some questions about the health of myself and my boyfriend. We have been in a relationship for 3 yrs now, before that time i had an iud inserted in March of 2011. I started dating him in Nov of 2016. Everything was fine during that time until around May or XXXXXXX of 2017. We would have sex and he would get a scratch like cut on the head of his penis and we didn t know why. Then he had little bumps under the head of his penis that would last for a few days and clear up. He also developed itching in between his legs, around his genitals that would have him itching all night. He went to the doctor and had them look at it and they said he should see a dematologist. Now, this is happening again. We had sex Saturday night and he developed a bump on his penis and it is really worrying me. He had never had anything like it before. Please help.
Brief Answer:
Seems to be fungal infection, answer few questions
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Your boyfriend seems to be having fungal infection.
Do you have any history of vaginal discharge or vulval itching?
Is your boyfriend having diabetes or any other ailments?
Has he taken any medicines like antibiotics in the recent past?
Kindly revert with the answers.
Meanwhile ask him to apply topical anti fungal like clotrimazole cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like Cetirizine 10 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching.
