Detailed Answer:
Hii. Xylometazoline cause increase in blood pressure as it's side effects. But it is difficult to say if your hypertension is due to xylometazoline or due to other causes. Xylometazoline has other major side effect. If it has been used for a proplonged period then it cause reflex congestion of the nasal mucosa. Even if your nose is not blocked due to allergy still then you will feel nose blockage as xylometazoline cause relfex congestion. So it's better you stop the nose drop. Monitor your blood pressure twice daily. Avoid excess tea, coffee, salt in diet. If your hypertension is due to xylometazoline then it will take at least 3 months to get the blood pressure stabilised. So monitor of blood pressure over 3 months and if needed you can start antihypertensive after consulting a physcian. For allergic rhinitis and recurrent nose block you can start fluticasone nasal spray, saline nasal spray and steam inhalation. Please review if you have any queries.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. It will take some time to settle the blood pressure. Monitor the blood pressure for next 3 months. You can take amlodipine after consulting a physician for mild hypertension. After 3 months when the effects of xylometazoline will be less then only you can know the baseline blood pressure. Then you can decide whether to continue the amlodipine or not.
