Yew I smoke, but don't drink. What bothers me the most is the Depression and anxiety. I sit in my room alot with the door locked ans the light off, and don't want to have contact with anyone. I don't participate in any activities because of fear of what might happen from the anxiety. I have tremors such that sometimes I cant hold a a cup of coffee with out is sloshing out wg=hich I used to take Propranolol for, but my new clinic prescribed Benztropine, but it doesn't help the tremors. My father had servere depression. So do you think I should get a second opinion?

Brief Answer:
If you don't feel any improvements you may ask a second opinion

Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,

Benztropine is used to treat symptoms of involuntary movements due to the side effects of certain psychiatric drugs.

So, basically in your case it is prescribed to treat the tremor.

If you don't feel any improvements you may ask a second opinion for an alternative medication.

Some of the alternatives are Cogentin, Propranolol or Trihexyphenidyl.

They are medications given on prescription, so you should consult your doctor before using them.

Hope my answer was helpful.

Take care dear.
