
I Have Swelling Around My Foreskin Area I Am Circumcised

Question: I have swelling around my foreskin area I am circumcised it has gone on for a week now it is not painful but I am now worried not sure what action I should take anti inflamtory cream etc

Looks like mild irritation. apply OTC steroid creams and you'll be fine.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for sending the pictures . It looks like it is some form of dermatitis or irritation. I suggest using very mild soap and water to wash it twice a day. Avoid for it being soaked with perspiration or when you are sweaty make sure that you dry it off completely and wash it was open water and don't let it air dry by itself with sweat.
A mild hydrocortisone cream or a steroid cream will be very helpful to hasten the recovery process. I usually tell patients to do this twice a day and apply the cream very thinly on the affected areas.

Yes there will be a feeling of thickness around the area. That's normal and would go away in time as the swelling resolves. If the swelling persists or gets worse in the coming days then i suggest you see a urologist so he may be able to do a complete physical examination and you.
