
I Have Tenderness And Pian In My Lower Left Abdomen

Question: I have tenderness and pian in my lower left abdomen and have the feeling I have to urinate when I do hardy any comes out. Plus the frequency I go to the restroom has increased.

I have this problem for a could of days now and have noticed some swelling on the left side of my abdomen. Could this be a possible bladder infection?

Based on the facts that you have posted pain in lower abdomen ,urge to pass urine frequently that you have is mostly due to stone in the left lower ureter .
Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
In the mean time start taking Take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like
Nitrofurantoin and and Urispas twice daily with Tomsulosin once daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
.Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
Ensure to rink more water to keep urine dilute .
