Elevation of triglycerides is not a feature for HIV. You are safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
Thanks for posting your query.
Nearly 40% of spouses married to an HIV positive individual are remaining HIV free even after their regular sex contact for years together at the time of diagnosis and even after and are called as the SERO-DISCORDANT couple.
Likewise, there is every chance that you would remain HIV free in spite of a sexual encounter with an HIV positive individual.
Nonreactive antibody tests, 3 months after the exposure itself assures that you are free from HIV, You had more than one test for HIV as nonreactive, that too, even after 2 and half years. That is great. Nothing to worry. You are free from HIV.
If you are not satisfied, have one more test with HIV 4th generation COMBO/DUO test, which is nearly 99% reliable.
Elevation of triglycerides is not a characteristic feature for HIV alone... It can occur to anybody,
So please don't get confused.

You are free from HIV infection.

Hi,
Welcome back.
There will not be any other definite abnormal blood parameter indicating the the presence of HIV infection other than detection of either antigen or antibodies against HIV. By two years, there may be some decline in the total WBC count, Lymphocyte percentage with some. But these changes are not specific anyway to HIV infection alone. In your case as your CBC is well within normal limits, this can not be applicable.
Certain other nonspecific changes can be expected in case of early HIV disease such as Serum neopterin level, followed in descending order by β2-m, IgA (elevation of immunoglobulin level) and IL-2 receptors. However, these indirect predictors are of little value if direct tests for HIV antigen or antibody show a negative test result.(http://medind.nic.in/iau/t04/i1/iaut04i1p7.pdf)
Forget about that incident, relax and go ahead with your normal routine.
