I Have Two Sets Of Symptoms That I Have Been

Question: I have two sets of symptoms that I have been told might hormone or adrenal related:

-As soon as I start to drift towards sleep I get a pain in my chest,, my arms shake violently and adrenaline shoots everywhere in my body. It happens repeatedly for hours each time I start to drift. I become very agitated from the repeated adrenaline rushes and my upper body has a very raw, burned feeling. The adrenaline rushes occur during the day with any background noise, but I don't get the "I'm dying" kind of feeling like at night, when it feels like a seizure.

-after eating I will become very cold and tired...iabout two hours later I feel very hot and sweating. Frequently I have heart palpitations , anger, dizziness, sometimes nausea.

My medications included 10mg Celexa, .25 mgs klonopin, 5-10mgs propranolol, and 25 trazodone at night (the later three usually help with night time symptoms and offset other sleep issues from the antidepressants. In the morning I take 100mg Lamictal and 5mg propranolol which tends to help with bad irritatbiliy.

Do these sound endocrine? Sleep studies didn't show anything. I have been on Lamictal 15 years, HIV medications for 15years, and small doses of klonopin for 8 years and I wonder to some degree if my reaction to them is changing.

Brief Answer:
About endocrine symptoms:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.

The symptoms you described can be due to endocrine pathologies but you did not mention how is your blood pressure and have you ever checked the heart rate when you feel tachycardia?

Usually, the endocrine pathologies that cause palpitations and hot flashes are associated with high blood pressure or tachycardia.

Thyroid pathologies or catecholamine production by the adrenal gland can be the main causes.
You need to check thyroid hormones and free metanephrines in the blood.

Hope the information will help.

Best wishes,
