Question: I just remember my throat started hurting after a guy kissed me with a lot of saliva, then in November my chest started burning couldn't breathe because of the pain, in urgent care they told me pleurisy based off of symptoms…they've done 2 throat cultures on me & tell me negative… I've taken 200mg doxycycline for 2 weeks, & 1,500mg of azithromycin too.. now its January & my throat & tonsils still hurt.. I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck & my chest feels sore & tight…. I dont know all of the bacteria that they check for in throat cultures … but maybe the guy made my mouth flora lose balance or something.. or it could be a virus, but they say that your body raises its temperature to kill viruses, so I drink a lot of hot tea, i also do gargle salt water.. it does help for a moment, but I still feel inflamed & hurts to talk… I'm not coughing & I can eat, I also don't have a fever at the moment… but idk what happened… maybe my body is reacting to his bacteria from his saliva or maybe he did give me a virus, I don't know. But it's too much pain… it started 4 months ago. Could it be that the bacteria in his saliva made my flora lose balance?
