Question: I keep getting food stuck in my throat. It gets hung just at the top of my esophagus, especially if it's a small bit of food. If I swallow something larger, it goes down, but I'm getting worried. I have a history of acid reflux, which may be relevant here.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services. There are many causes of dysphagia with similar symptoms. You need to consult an Ent surgeon and a Gastroenterologist. Get an endoscopy of the airway by an Ent surgeon. Gastroenterologist should do another gastroscopy to see your oesophagus. If both the endoscopies are normal then you don't need to worry about. But from your history it seems that you may be having acid reflux. Acid reflux mostly present with similar symptoms. So don't panic. But the preliminary investigation you need to undergo is the endoscopy of the larynx and gastroscopy. For acid reflux drink less tea, coffee. Drink more water. Avoid smoking, alcohol. You can start an antacid for few week. Get your reports and review.
