Brief Answer:
It is not necessary that your child would be unhealthy

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.

I have gone through your query and assume that your query is about the risks of consanguinous marriage. It is not essential that the child who is a product of a certain degree of consanguinity is essentially going to be unhealthy or diseased but the risks of certain genetic diseases is increased. This is because that the same autosomal recessive genes are likely to be present in both parents (as a result of same hereditary lineage) and their combination increase the chances of disease expression. You cannot change this at the moment. Rather, you would need to take a chance with pregnancy. You can visit a genetic counsellor who will be able to explain you the risks associated and whether those can be averted. You can proceed accordingly with planning for your child.
