I Missed The 15th Month & 18th Month Vaccination After
Question: I missed the 15th Month & 18th Month vaccination after 12 month vaccination. In the first week of May month I will have to visit for 2 year(24 month) vaccination. So in this cases what you suggest about missed vaccinations.
Brief Answer:
Missed vaccinations can be given at the first appropriate opportunity
Detailed Answer:
Hi... I understand your concern.
in such events of missed vaccination your pediatrician will advise you to go ahead with all the age appropriate vaccines up to a maximum number of four, at each visit.
In this case I would give the 15th and 18th month vaccinations followed by one month later with the second year vaccination.

Thank you very much for Information.
So there won't be problem if we give 15th and 18th month vaccination on same day? Generally there will be gap between any 2 vaccines but if we do not maintain proper gap, there will be any problem to my child?
And also there are few mandatory and few optional vaccines in the chart, really we can skip the optional vaccines?

Brief Answer:
Suggestions on vaccination
Detailed Answer:
1. At any day you can give for vaccinations maximum.
2. MMR and chickenpox vaccine have to be given at two different sites.
3. Vaccination is like putting helmet and I do not see any difference between optional vaccines and compulsory vaccinations.
You do not put the helmet for the traffic police sake, you put the helmet for your own sake.
Your child is your responsibility and it is your responsibility to give all the vaccines which are available.
