Brief Answer:
Use of Meth can worsen your tonsillitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query.

The use of Meth in acute tonsillitis can worsen the symptoms. Meth can have adverse and potentially fatal effects on arteries and blood vessels, including increased blood pressure, and acute vasospasm.

Vasospasm can hinder the disease clearance process and promote bacterial growth. Hence, refrain from smoking at this stage.

My advice to you is:
1. Drink frequent sips of lukewarm water. This would reduce inflammation and lightheadedness and moisten the mucosa of your throat.
2. Take some potent anti-inflammatory medications such as Diclofenac or Ibuprofen.
3. Consult your PCP for a thorough evaluation and management.
4. Avoid coffee, smoking, and consuming chilled food/beverages.

I hope this answers your query. Revert back
to me, if you have any follow-up questions.
