I Noticed A Small Dark Circular Bump On The Shaft Of My Penis
Question: Saturday morning, I noticed a small dark circular bump on the shaft of my penis (maybe 1 1/2 inches away from the tip). I would guess that the diameter was 1/4 of a centimeter. I had never seen this before and was planning to ask my doctor about it this week. It was there all day Saturday. However, on Sunday morning it was gone and there is no trace of it. I can't even tell exactly where it was. Do you know what this could be and if it's something to worry about?
I actually have a picture. I guess it was lighter color and not as far from the tip as I thought.

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photographs.
A skin lesion which appears and completely disappears on it's own is not of much concern.
The photographs which you have attached are of warts.
A wart is a viral infection and won't disappear on it's own.
Just relax, you need to be concerned only if it reappears.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
Nothing to worry

OK. It was definitely there only for a day. I've looked very carefully under bright light and I see not trace of it now. I'm a little confused. Do you think it was a wart or something else? Is this considered sexually transmitted? Thank you for your response and clarification.
Brief Answer:
Not an infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Definitely it was not wart.
Wart grows slowly and will never fall of on it's own.
In fact no skin infection disappears on it's own.
Only skin allergies disappear.
So there is a possibility that you had an allergy to something which disappeared the next day.
Just relax there is nothing to worry.
