I Noticed A Small Red Bump On The Shaft Of

Question: I noticed a small red bump on the shaft of my penis. Very close to that is a black bump. I can't tell if it's actually just one bump or two separate ones. Can you look at this and tell me if you think it is normal? I had trouble uploading the picture but here is a link to a picture:

I don't know if this is relevant but I get acne on my face. Thank you.

Actually, the part that I said is black might be more of a blue-gray. I'm not sure if it's just part of a vein. It looks like there's a darker speck on the blue-gray thing. I always worry about ticks though.
Brief Answer:
Looks like a Fordyce spot
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thank you for uploading the photo. To me it looks like a Fordyce spot; completely benign. However, I need to know if there is any associated pain, itching, penile discharge, etc.? Similar bumps elsewhere on your penis?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

OK. Can you see that there is a red mark below and a blue-gray bulge (with a small speck) above? Is that all one thing (all part of the fordyce spot)? It definitely doesn't look lick a tick, right? There is no pain, itching, or discharge. I don't think I have anything else like that on my penis.

The main thing that's worrying me about it possibly being a tick is the small speck. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and can't see any legs though.
Brief Answer:
No tick

Hi again XXXXXXX
It definitely does not look like a tick bite, so you should not worry about that.

I was able to get a closer shot of the black thing now that the red mark seems to have gone away. I think it's a scab or a freckle or a fordyce spot but I'd like you to look at this picture just to tell me if you still think it's not a tick.

At that degree of magnification, we'd see clear legs or a head, right?
Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Could be scab
Detailed Answer:
Hi again XXXXXXX
Sorry for my delayed reply. From the photos you send it looks like scab, you can rarely see a head or anything on any magnification really. However, if you do not feel any itch, it is unlikely to be scab. My advice would be to try Nix (permethrin) for a week and either wash your linnen at 90 degrees celcius or freeze them.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
