Some more information on the skin lesion is necessary
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,
I carefully read your query and checked the uploaded image.
There are many causes of skin rashes. These may range from local trauma, local infections (folliculitis, yeast infection, etc) to more important diseases such as purpura (bleeding under the skin), etc.
Pictures are very helpful when it comes to skin lesions so it is very helpful you have uploaded an image of the lesion. On the other hand, some more information about the rash is needed as well.
I Kindly ask you to let me know about the following:
- do you have pain or discomfort locally
- is it flat or is the lesion raised (from the picture it seems flat)
- does it blanch on pressure? (for this you may use a transparent glass and press it with the glass and see if the color of the lesion fades away)
- do you have any fever, joint pains, headaches, chest pain or weakness r any other complaints recently?
- do you have any other skin lesions?
- are you using any medications at the moment?
- do you suffer from other conditions?
It is important to determine if the lesion blanches or not. This will make the difference between purpura which shows bleeding under the skin (non-balancing lesion and medically very important, and warranting quick check with your doctor) or other usual rashes that are self-limiting and generally fade within a week.
Hope to hear from you soon with the additional information required.

Detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
Thank you for the extra information.
The fact that the lesion does not blanch means it is bleeding under the skin. The most common cause of this is local trauma. Local trauma is even when we vigorously scratch the area and may not be aware of it.
If this is the only lesion you are having and you are not feeling generally unwell very likely this is a local trauma and all you need to do is just have an eye over it and try to avoid any possible scratching in the area.
If the lesion does not fade in a few days or you get new similar skin lesions or your headache is persistent and not responding to pain killers or you feel unwell generally, you will need to see your doctor.
An important infection in the blood needs to be ruled out in this case such as endocarditis, meningitis, etc (this is rarely the case but may happen).
If an infection is unlikely to be the cause of the lesions, tests to check coagulation are important: CBC, platelet count, ERS, liver function tests, bleeding time, coagulation time, PTT, aPTT, etc.
These are diagnosis to consider only in the case of the above-mentioned situations (the rash not getting better in 4-5 days, having more lesions coming up, having headaches that do not respond to pain killers, feeling unwell generally, etc).
In your case, especially mentioning the situation with the legs being sweaty and stuck together and painful, very likely the trauma is the cause and you just need to have an eye on it.
I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Hello and welcome back,
Sometimes, especially in patients that the thighs are tight against one another, these kinds of lesions are very likely.
I am sorry for the fact that your husband is considering it to be sexually related. I hope you will clarify things together and everything will be fine.
I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
