I Observed Inner Right Thigh Near Groin Swollen (no Pain)

Question: I observed inner right thigh near groin swollen (no pain) with a painful pimple in thigh. Two weeks back I got groun pain which refuced by using lycer40mg tablet. for groin pain urine and blood test are normal with abdomen Ultrasound also normal.

It could be enlarged Lymph node

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description,it could be an Enlarged Inguinal lymph node.
Ultrasound abdomen may not cover that area.
I prefer Ultrasound of the swollen area.It gives a clue.
Another possibility is Lipoma, i.e swelling arising from Fat.
It is usually painless.
If Ultrasound is inconclusive,then I prefer FNAC (FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION CYTOLOGY).Here,a syringe is introduced into the swelling and the Aspirate is examined under Microscope.Exact diagnosis will be known.
