I Quit Birth Control Pills In 2019 March And Noticed
Question: I quit birth control pills in 2019 March and noticed hair shedding after that. March 2020 I experienced a traumatic event and my hair thinned after that. I can notice the thinning mostly on my sides and parting. I have noticed growth on my sides after eating vitamins such as iron. I went to the doctor, and he barely looked at my hair and said that I have to wait for my hair to grow. I'm scared that I suffer from androgenetic alopecia. My hair shedding has stopped but I still shed some long and short hairs and I read that in androgenetic alopecia I might have seasons when my hair doesn't shed. Is it possible that I have androgenetic alopecia but my hair still grows longer and I have noticed massive growth on my temples? I'm a 19 year old girl and I have no family history of hair loss.
