Brief Answer:
Smelly discharge not related to herpes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Taking Valtrex is the right treatment for herpes. It will help you not to have more outbreaks.
I think the smelly discharge and the bubbles are not typical of herpes characteristics.
You may be suffering from another genital infection.

I think you should do a vaginal smear sample. Also, you should be checked for other STD.
This will help you to find the right treatment for this smelly discharge.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
