I Recently Had A Complete Metabolic Panel, And I Am

All of the values in my complete metabolic panel are normal with these exceptions:
Potassium High Result: 5.3 Reference Range: 3.5 - 5.2 mmol/L
A/G Ratio High Result: 2.3 Reference Range: 1.2 - 2.2
ALT (SGPT) High Result: 53 0 - 44 IU/L
I realize that two of these levels are only slightly out of range. I am concerned, however, because the ALT level is more significantly out of range.
Because I experience so much inflammation due the mast cell disorder, I also wonder whether this inflammation could be affecting my liver. Is this possible?
Dietwise, I eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, chicken, and starches including bread, rice and pasta moderately. I do snack on some unhealthful foods, including potato chips and ice cream, moderately. I am 41 years old, and I drink alcohol very moderately (one drink every month or two); I did, however, drink pretty heavily for a few years in my 30s, and also wonder whether this could have done damage. (My liver enzymes were never high before this most recent blood test, and I very rarely drink nowadays.)
I am 5'11" tall (180cm), and weigh about 170 pounds (77kg). My blood pressure is within normal range, but I do have occasional heart arrhythmia and rapid resting heart rate due to unknown causes.
Overall, I am just wondering what might be contributing to these high levels because I would like to do anything within my power to get them back down to normal levels. Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to provide.
Overall the reports can be considered normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir
I have worked through your attached query and reports in detail.
With regards to serum potassium and A/G ratio, these are minor lab variations which can be well considered to be in normal limits. Nothing to worry about this.
With regards to liver enzymes ALT, it is a mild elevation and be disregarded at this point of time.
I don't think Mast cell Disorder could could contribute to this at the moment. However alcohol intake even though infrequent and low can lead to liver enzyme elevation although it's not serious in your case. My suggestion at this point of time is you avoid further intake of alcohol and repeat liver function tests after 1 month.
Consumption of fruits like apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables and oatmeal for breakfast daily will help to normalise liver enzymes. Simultaneously it's advisable to avoid fried and fatty food stuff.
You can continue taking the same current medications as prescribed by your physician.
To conclude- overall there is nothing to be worried of with regards to your lab reports.
Post your further questions if any
Thank you
