Detailed Answer:
Hi...
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
As per plain MR Scan, you have frozen shoulder.
It is very likely that you might be having enlarged lymph nodes,in response to it.
Most common causes of lymphadenopathy is infections and inflammation.
Even generalized lymphadenopathy is most often associated with systemic viral infections.
Other causes of lymphnode enlargement includes autoimmune diseases, glycogen storage diseases, benign hyperplasia, and drug reactions.
They are also enlarged in malignancies.
Yes.....cortical thickening and hilum absence is usually seen in metastasis
but there are different criteria s to label cortical thickening.
Different ratios of cortex to hilum are used by different interpreters.
This is a rough estimate of a non invasive screening and would only be confirmed by FNAC ,puncture and core biopsy.
To ascertain the cause, you need to undergo Mammography,Ultrasound and CT Scan which is to be done shortly.
Hope that I have answered your query.
If you have any doubts, please let me know.
Stay healthy.
Regards.
