I Recently Had An Ultrasound Done Of My Liver And
Question: I recently had an ultrasound done of my liver and my liver was moderately enlarged and measured 20.4 centimeters and that is up from a few years ago when it measured 15.5 centimeters. It seems as though I have a fatty liver and a contoured liver due to apparently cirrhosis. Seems to be a cist as well that is not of much concern apparently.

I would like to have some more information.
1.Whether the Liver Surface is Smooth or Nodular as per Ultrasound report.
2.Whether Spleen is enlarged?
3.Whether free fluid is present in the Abdominal cavity?
Please attach the Ultrasound report in the REPORTS section.
Span of the Liver above 15cms is Significant.If it is due to Fatty liver, you should follow some dietary restrictions.
High Carbohydrate diet should be avoided.
Alcohol should be stopped
Diabetes should be under control.
Weight should be in normal range.
Olive oil should be used for cooking.
Green tea is beneficial.
If you do Regular exercise and maintain good diet,Fatty liver will come down.
Nothing to worry.
