Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Blood in the semen is called hematospermia.

In the majority of persons, it is not associated with significant illness.
In most , it is due to infection or inflammation of some aspect of the genital tract.
Though it is usually due to a benign (not dangerous cause), it would still be best to be seen.

The seminal vesicles are organs that are found close to the prostate and bladder. They make a lot of the semen that surround the sperm.

It joins together with another structure that carries sperm and they form a duct/passage way that goes through the prostate and eventually another tube called the urethra.

Infection or inflammation of any of these areas can cause blood to be seen though there are other causes as well.

Causes-(1) conditions of the prostate eg- benign (not cancerous enlargement) or malignant enlargement

Infection of the prostate or presence of cyst

(2)Conditions of the urethra-infection, cysts, strictures (narrowing), polyps (usually benign)

(3)conditions of the seminal vesicles such as cysts or infection

Trauma of the genital tract or bleeding disorders can also cause bleeding to occur.

In some persons the cause is not found and it resolves on its own.

Assessment may consist of examination and investigations such as- urine/semen analysis, PSA and imaging.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
