Question: I recently snorted what i thought was a large line of cocaine. it turned out it was adderal. i had been consuming a large amount of alcohol prior to this. i did not feel bad until the next day. i slept for one hour and had a stomach ache all day. later on in the day i started to have waves of dizziness, anxiety and shortness of breath along with numbness in my limbs if i had them in one spot for too long. i slept for 3 hours the following night. i would periodically wake up to mild hallucinations such as the bed appearing to be wavy. and a smokey figure in the shadows. I have felt mostly normal all of today other than the headache in the morning and pressure in my head behind my ears and mild dizziness right after lunch. Will this continue to get better on its own? what is causing the dizziness and shortness of breath?

Brief Answer:
Dangerous combination - conservative treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern. Mixing a stimulant such as Adderall with a depressant such as alcohol, is never a good idea as the combination can put immense strain on the heart, causing permanent damage. The dizziness and shortness of breath are caused by decreased blood supply to the brain and the heart due to constriction of the blood vessels by Adderall.

Your symptoms seem to be waning and may persist to a small degree for a few more days. Drink plenty of water, eat small healthy meals frequently, refrain from using any drug or alcohol and try to be active as much as possible in order to increase metabolism of the substances in your body. If you experience chest pain and progressing shortness of breath please seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

I hope this answers your query. I'd be happy to answer any further questions you might have.

Take care
