Brief Answer:
You are infected with the herpes simplex virus 2 .

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in "Ask a Doctor".
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Having a HSV 2 IgG positive means that you are infected with the herpes simplex virus 2 .

The only reliable blood test for HSV2 is IGG HSV 2 test that needs 3-6 months to turn positive after exposure because it takes 3-6 months for your body to make IgG antibodies in response to an infection.

Hope I have answered your query.
Feel free to ask me further.
