Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Hair problems usually happen due to biotin or vitamin C deficiency. You can take tab biotin forte and limcee tablets one tablet daily for 3 months. For these deficiencies, tests are not required. For other vitamin deficiencies like B12, folate, iron, calcium, we have blood tests available to check their levels.
Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Vitamin Biotin and C need not be tested
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
We usually do not test biotin and vitamin C levels. These supplements can just be taken as they are harmless. For other vitamin deficiencies like B12, folate, iron, calcium, we have blood tests available to check their levels. So you can test these in a laboratory.
The tests for hair dryness are as follows:
Complete blood count
thyroid profile
Serum B12, folate, iron, calcium levels.
Hope this helps.
