Question: I saw pinkish/brown spotting last Tuesday i am a week late for my cycle, backache,acne break outs and lots of nausea but my hcg urine test says no. What else could be wrong?

Repeat home pregnancy test after 4 to 5 days

The symptoms you are experiencing could either be premenstrual or early pregnancy-related.

Testing too early can give false-negative results.
You might get your period in the next few days. If not, repeat the home pregnancy test after 4 to 5 days.
Use the first-morning urine sample for the test as it will contain the highest amount of HCG.

You can continue at-home care with a heating pad for pain. Stay hydrated.
Also, discontinue Differin gel for time being as its use during pregnancy is not recommended.
