I See Small Red Bumps On My Leg Looks Like
Kindly asked to upload a couple of pictures and provide some more information (details below)
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,
I carefully read your query.
Folliculitis is a common finding on the legs and may present as red bumps that do not hurt or itch. On the other hand, there are other possible causes of red bumps on the legs. Having a picture or two of the red bumps will be very helpful to evaluate them. Also, some more information would be important:
- for how long have you had the bumps?
- do they also have puss (white areas)?
- do you have any fever or any fatigue?
- is there anyone else at home that has similar bumps?
I hope to hear back from you soon with uploaded pictures of the rash and the answers to the above questions.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Pus is gone
The bumps seem like folliculitis- advises below
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
Thank you for the reply and the extra information provided. I also checked the images.
By what you explain and also checking the images I think these are folliculitis. Typically folliculitis causes red bumps with a little puss. They may be tender to the touch or not. Generally, it affects areas of friction such as groin area, legs, etc, and is self-limiting.
I would expect the lesions to go away spontaneously in the next few days to a week. You do not need to apply any treatment to them. Warm compresses and local antibiotic cream can be tried if you would like to treat them but are not necessary.
Try not to squeeze the lesions (bumps) as this may spread the bacteria further and cause more lesions or cause the infection to be spread in the blood.
If you do not see any improvement in the next 4-5 days or you notice any worsening you will need to talk to a doctor.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
