I Should Be Taking Any Medicine 7th Month Pregnant And I Noticed A Patch On My Scalp ?
Question: I am 7th month Pregnant and I noticed a patch on my scalp last month, a similar condition which I once had 10 year ago. Alopecia Areata.(Doctor had given an injection on the scalp to treat that)
Not sure if I should be taking any medicine in this situation or leave that untreated for now?

Doctor must have given injection kenacort in the patch.
It is a steroid injection and hence it is better to avoid during pregnancy.
After delivery you can start using ointment mometasone twice daily application.
It is better to avoid injection even during breast feeding.
