I Started About 10 Days Ago To Feel Discomfort Urinating.
Question: I started about 10 days ago to feel discomfort urinating. It started to get painful urinating with pain starting to dramatically increase in my penis/ureter and immediately adjacent area of my abdomen this past Friday. Concurrently, my urine began getting darker with noticeable blood, usually towards the end of evacuating the bladder. NOTE: I had a minimally malignant, type 1 tumor removed from my bladder about 6-7 weeks earlier.
I say my urologist's P.A. who gave me a script for Cipro and sent my urine sample (now as dark brown like Coca -Cola). The results came back that there was NO INFECTION. Now I'm trying to see the doctor, but have no idea what this could be or how urgent I need to get treatment.
Can I please get some help?
Thank you, XXXXXXX Ritter

Brief Answer:
Urinary malignancy recurrence to be ruled
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your attached query in detail.
These symptoms are collectively referred to as hematuria.
As per your your symptoms, the possibility of a recurrence of bladder malignancy is very high.
This needs to be excluded through appropriate tests like Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis.
Further management if any is largely based on the test reports.
Post your further questions if any.
Thank you
