Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar, a neurologist, here to answer your query.
As the pain is located on one side and persistent, I would suggest that a brain imaging study( CT/MRI) should be done to rule out an intracranial pathology. I would further like to know if your pain is associated with vomiting sensation or not? Does it increase on exposure to sounds or bright lights?
I shall be glad to have you in follow-up with details.

No vomiting or dizziness … nor does it seem to be affected by light … maybe loud noise ??
I have noticed this sensation of pain / pressure in this area several times over the years .. but never lasted this long .. or was this intense … was hoping it was just tension related .. but there does seem to be a "weakness" in that area for some reason .. i'll make an appt for a scan .. thank you

Brief Answer:
Follow-up after scan.

Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
As you said that the intensity and duration of headache has increased now, I suggest that its better to get a brain imaging scan. Please follow-up after the scan. I'll be glad to offer my further opinion based on that.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
