I Started Having Symptoms Of Coronavirus Ie Cough And High
Question: I started having symptoms of Coronavirus ie Cough and high temperature almost 3 weeks ago. Symptoms got worse after a week when i fainted. I was assessed and told to go to hospital 9 days ago with difficulty breathing and Oxygen Satirations lowering. Chest XRay showed typical signs of Covid 19 and i was admitted for two nights needing Oxygen initially. I have been home now and am getting better. My Sats and temperature are now normal. The questions I have are my pulse rate is still high (96 to 110) and Blood Pressure is high systolic over 150 and diastolic in the 90%E2%80%99s. Could this be due to infection markers still being raised even though im getting better? Also I was told some Covid patients are coming back with DVT/PE%E2%80%99s so im on 2 weeks Clexane (Heparin) injections and am wearing stockings to prevent DVT. Should I be wearing these stocking in bed as well as in the daytime? Many thanks, Warren
