I Started To Develop A Flat Red And Peeling Rash In Both Of My Antecubital Areas

Question: Hi I started to develop a flat red and peeling rash in both of my antecubital areas about a month ago, which was followed by 2 fairly large areas on both sides of my lower abdomen and groin, which have now increased in size. Now also below my chest area. Saw my local dermatologist. Been tried on ketaconazole first and now using triamcinolone w/o much change. I've been on Simponi for a number of months for psoriatic arthritis. Wondering if it might be an allergic reaction to that med, which I inject on either side of my belly. Thanks for any help. I can upload a pic of one of my arms.
Brief Answer:
Kindly upload Images
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It could be either Tinea/ fungal infection or it could be psoriasis (considering that you have history of psoriatic arthritis). I request you to kindly upload a few Images of the affected area in "Reports section" so that I am able to have a look and guide you accordingly. Also let me know if you have any symptoms like itching?
Hope to assist you further with your query. Take care

Brief Answer:
flexural rash
Detailed Answer:
Thank you. I have viewed the Image.
These red patches involving the flexural folds looks like it could be either flexural psoriasis or intertrigo. Injection site reactions to Golimumab can happen but they are localized only to the site of injection but since this rash is a bit away i.e involving the groin folds so it is unlikely due to the injection. I suggest you to use an antifungal dusting powder for the groin folds e.g clotrimazole dusting powder to keep the folds dry. Use the powder at day time. At night you may use a combination of topical steroid with topical antifungal like Lotrimin ultra cream for a few days. For the cubital fossae you may use only the cream, twice daily. You may also take an oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10mg tablet once daily for a few days for symptomatic relief from itching
