I Suffered An Extreme (6-month) Bout Of C. Diff Eight

Question: I suffered an extreme (6-month) bout of c. diff eight years ago, when I was 39. Since then I've dealt with IBS-like symptoms. 1 year ago I was diagnosed with Hashimoto. During the past years, occurring more frequently the last 2 years, I've had bouts of 2-3 blisters that reoccur on my right index and middle fingers - on the inside left side of the finger, specifically. The blister outbreak seems to coincide with bouts of IBS-like symptoms. Do these symptoms relate to one another? What possible diagnoses exhibit these symptoms, simultaneously? Thank you for any possible insight.
Brief Answer:
Possibly herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hi Amykc.bates
This could be a case of a herpes virus, that reactivates when the body becomes stressed, e.g. in times of infection or inflammation. I suggest you try some aciclovir creme for a few weeks. If it doesn't help you should have culture send from the blisters. Also, a photo of the blisters would help diagnosis.
Hope this helps.
