Question: I suffered from oral lichen planus from 2013 till 2015..I started homeopathy treatment and it went into remission for 4 yrs..Now I developed inflammation on left cheek with little white striae for last one month..Kindly have a look at the pic and suggested treatment.

I have read your query and gone through the image you have attached. As far as i have observed it looks like inflammation on buccal mucosa .

For this i will suggest you to apply ointment containing Triamcinolone Acetonide like XXXXXXX buccal paste. Topical application on buccal mucosa twice daily for two weeks. Multivitamin with Antioxidant once daily for 15 days by consulting with local doctor .

Nothing serious to be worried about . Follow the suggested treatment .

hello Maam Are you MDS in oral medicine or oral and maxillofacial surgery? One Doctor suggested me Turmix tablet 3 times a day..I started on homeopathy again and using Lycored also.. will start applying kenacort daily from today..In which branch you did your MDS PLEASE?

I am Mds in Prosthodontist department . I had worked 2 years in oral medicine department as oral surgeon . I have suggested you medicine and treatment in my previous answer . Yes you can apply kenacort also or XXXXXXX buccal paste for inflammamtion. As far as i have observed there is no need to take medicine turmix this time for inflammed buccal mucosa .

Currently I am using Lycored Kenacort and Turmix ointment.. as per your recommendation I will stop turmix tablet..And apply kenacort more..As oral lichen planus as no cure and it will trouble me the entire life if you have proper treatment plan kindly share so that disease atleast goes into remission. Regards

Yes, you can take suggested medication and you can consult oral surgeon for clinical examination also. As far as i have observed there is nothing to be worried so much for this . I would also like to tell you lichen planus is stress induced also. So dont take so much of stress it is best medication for you.
Apply ointment and take medication antioxidant with multivitamin .
