I Think I Had A Mild Stroke About About 6

symptoms may not occur, need to reduce risks of a second
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
A stroke occurs if there is a change in blood supply to a part of the brain. It may be due to blockage of a blood vessel or a bleed.
It can affect any aspect of the brain and any symptoms that occur are related to the extent of the change (eg if there is a big bleed or the blocked vessel affects a big area) and also to the part of the brain where it happened.
This is because there are different functions to the varied areas of the brain.
In most strokes (if major)- may be a change in way a person talks, weakness of one side of the body and the face may be altered
In mild strokes there may be no residual symptoms. Persons may experience mild symptoms at the time but they resolve.
A CT scan may show changes.
If a mild stroke occurs and the symptoms resolve, they are not expected to recur unless a second stroke occurs.
A person with a history of a stroke is unfortunately at risk of another.
To reduce this risk, would need to : control any risk factors such as blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, no smoking, increase physical activity if not active
Controlling risk factors is the main way to prevent another stroke
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
