Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question Alicemaikens. Hope I can be of help for you today. Through reading your query I understand and would like to help you with this question. Cloudy, urgency, frequency, dysuria (burning), small amount urination are symptoms of UTI. They happen when bacteria get into the urethra and travel up to the bladder. Some time you may have blood in the urine. You should go to see your doctor, I suggest he might do a simple urine test. If he or she thinks you have a UTI your doctor also might do a more involved urine test to check for bacteria. Your doctor might give you Antibiotic pills to kill the germs that cause the infection. Your symptoms should begin to improve within a day of starting antibiotics. But you should finish all the antibiotics pills you get. Otherwise your infection might come back. Drinking a lot of water is good to prevent urinary infection.

Hope I have answered your query. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your child good health. Let me know if I can assist you further.
