Question: I think I have a yeast infection, but it's my first one. Should I be using Monistat or something else?

You can use Monistat.
You can also use Ketoconazole 2% cream 2 times per day for 3 days.
One simple and good way to treat, even if it is your first time to have a yeast infection is using a single dose of fluconazole 150mg. That is the mos effective way.

Also, try to keep the vulva as dry as possible. Don't wash yourself with soaps but only with water.
Wear cotton underwear.
