I Thought I Had A Sinus Infection But The NP
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I thought I had a sinus infection but the NP said no. He said viral. Two weeks of this and I am no better. I continue to be dizzy and nauseous. No fever, though sweats one night. At times a little better, other times worse (during each day). I have vomited a few times, suddenly.
Brief Answer:
Symptomatically no sinus infection...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The symptoms are not typical for a sinus infection. Do you have headache, runny nose / nasal congestion, throat pain or cough?
Sometimes post infection (viral), a few patients do experience dizziness and nausea. It gets better gradually. I would suggest you trying antacid and proton pump inhibitor drugs (prilosec OTC) and see if you get better. Drink plenty of fluids and have some fruits and vegetables.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
