Pain was in middle of lower back. I drive truck and as I drove the pain also worked down causing my knees to ache also. No difficulty in urination. I would average similar back pain like today maybe once every two months. Thank you for your time.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the relevant details.
* Possibly muscle spasm most likely as per the information of radiation to knee as well.
My guidelines at present
- Heating pad application for 5 minutes each to the area 2-3 times a day.
- Local spray of analgesic containing diclofenac also works fantastic.
- Analgesic as ibuprofen or paracetamol if no history of drug sensitivity, to be consumed
after meals 2-3 times a day.
- Avoid sudden bending or excess weight bearing.
- Visit once your primary care physician for discussion regarding the need of an x-ray to
rule out any developing arthritis issue of spine or else.
Wish you best health.
Take care.
