Brief Answer:
could be side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

oxycodone does not cause increased urine production. Actually opioids may reduce urine output although this is not a general notion. They may sometimes cause urinary retention which may feel like having to go to the bathroom very frequently and also cause pain (urgency).
Oxycodone also blocks intestinal motility and may cause bloating and pain along with nausea, vomiting, etc.

30mg is too much for some individuals. We usually start such drugs gradually (escalating the dosage little by little) until the pain is under control or until side effects ensue.

Kratom does not seem relevant in this conversation.

You should go to the doctor if you have intense symptoms. Doing a urinalysis may help to determine the origin of the pain.

I hope I've answered your question. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Perhaps I should be a bit more specific. I struggle with narcotic abuse which is why i take kratom. During this lockdown i have found it hard to not take it. I usually take it on a weekly basis. Never consecutively never exceeding 1300 mg of tylenol. When i took the oxy i was at a reduced output. The day after I am urinating multiple times a hour but everything is pretty clear. Could this be a kidney or liver reaction needing er assistance?

Brief Answer:
Yes

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the additional information!
Kratom may cause increased urination but since you've been taking it before trying oxycodone it's probably unrelated.

Oxycodone does not normally cause increased urination.

Passing urine mutliple times per hour is definitely not normal and requires investigation starting with a urinalysis and serum urea and creatinine measurement.

So the answer is yes, you should visit the ER for investigation.

I waited and things seem to be going back to normal at this time. Do you recommend following up with a gp or a er?

Brief Answer:
the ER is safer

Detailed Answer:
Since you're getting better it's probably nothing serious. In any case it would be safer to do the investigation as soon as possible.
