I Took The Morning After Pill And 3 Birth Control

Question: I took the morning after pill and 3 birth control a month ago. Ive had my period for a month now. Its off and on. Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
No need to be concerned.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history you are having your periods now so no need to worry.
Off and on bleeding may be due to harmonal changes, but if you are still concerned then you can take a home urine pregnancy test for assurance.
For further assessment you can consult with your gynecologist. He may procure ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, blood investigation to see your hcg level, for the final diagnosis.
Till then keep your self well hydrated and be calm.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale.
No need to be concerned.

I shouldnt be concerned for having a period for a month? I just dont understand why it wont stop. Could it be that the estrogen made my uterine wall thick and its taking longer?
Brief Answer:
Please see detailed answer..
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
As per your history, there can be several causes for longer periods. Though hormonal imbalance may be the most common.
So for further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with gynecologist.
He may procure hormonal level, complete hemogram, obstetrics ultrasound as per evaluation.
Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. Till then avoid stress. Take balanced diet. Keep your self hydrated.
