Hello,

First of all I like to inform you that the switch between prozac and zoloft can be done instantly as withdrawal syndrome with prozac is uncommon and since both medicines belong to same group (SSRI) the withdrawal symptoms do not appear when we replace one SSRI with other. So you can stop your prozac on one day and start the zoloft same day with 25 followed by increase of 25 mg every one week.

In case you are sensitive enough to medicines the following chart can be used for the purpose
Week 1 Prozac 80 mg

Week 2 Prozac 60 mg

Week 3 Prozac 40 mg

Week 4- Prozac 20 mg

Week 5 Stop Prozac and continue zoloft increment by 25 mg every week upto the target dose (till effects appear or side effects limit further increase)
