I Wanted Another Opinion For History Of Kyphosis

default
Posted on Fri, 7 Feb 2025
Question: I'm 18 with a history of kyphosis.
About 2-3 weeks ago I started having tingling and slight numbness on my left.
Also, nausea, diarrhea, pain in hands and feet. Last, have areas that seems to hurt for no reason.
My doctor thinks it's a part of the kyphosis so I wanted another opinion.

Brief Answer:
Can be related to kyphosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Tingling and numbness on one side can be due to mild nerve root compression or irritation caused by poor body posture related to kyphosis.
Nausea, diarrhea suggest an intestinal infection. It also causes electrolyte disturbance and fluid loss which aggravates tingling and numbness.
The body pain can be due to electrolyte disturbance or low calcium levels or a mild viral illness.
Proper supplements and water intake can help in reducing the symptoms.
Hope this answer is helpful.
Any further questions are welcome.
