I Was Bitten By Something While Gardening On Top Of
Question: I was bitten by something while gardening on top of my ear. It turned red and burned. I haven’t ever seen a bat in my yard but am concerned. I would like to send you a picture.
Brief Answer:
Kindly send a picture.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,
Sorry for the delayed response,
I have gone through your query and will answer it,
As per your description, the bitten area is red and burned. It could be some allergic reaction or something else following insect or spider bite.
However, I would like to see the bitten area. A single look at the picture would be helpful and would enable us to arrive at a probable diagnosis.
So take pictures of the ear and attach it.
Also, let me know if you have tried any over the counter medications.
Please get back to me.

Brief Answer:
Topical antiallergic can be helpful
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,
Thanks for providing pictures, I have inspected all 3 images carefully.
The red dot at ear pinna could be due to some insect bite during gardening and most probably this kind of small insect bite are completely harmless. Sometimes it might cause itching or mild burning.
Also it is likely that it may get subsided on its own within few days. So do not worry much.
However, I would like to suggest you to use some topical antiallergic cream or ointment for couple of days. You can ask some nearby chemist which is available over the counter.
Be assured that it is not dangerous.
Hope this helps and let me if you need more help.

Thank you for your reply. I do not know if you can tell but there is another mark below the one that you mentioned. Just worried irrationally that it was a bat bite.
